Ever since I can remember, I dreamed of being a wife and a mother. It was my ultimate dream and the one thing I knew I would be great at. When I met Harry everything I wanted began to fall into place beautifully. We were married in September and I was pregnant with little Emily by October. A few years later came Kyle and my life only seemed more perfect. Kyle was only a year old when Harry grew terribly ill. He had been bitten by a wild animal one night while taking out the garbage and was soon exhibiting symptoms no doctor could seem to diagnose. His skin was deteriorating, he was irritable and hungered for meat on an unhealthy level. It wasn’t until I awoke to him gnawing on my arm one night that I realized things would never be the same again. Soon I began to change as well. I craved my children’s flesh, I imagined cutting open their heads and extracting their brains for dinner. I would not let my family be torn apart by this… I bit my children so they would turn.
Still, I’m no different than any other wife or mother. I cook for my family, love them and nurture them…I just happen to be dead is all.
